JUICING
While I enjoy eating salads, Kendrick abhors eating his veggies. He knows how important it is to get +/- eight servings of fruit and vegetables daily though, so he drinks them instead. Occasionally we'll buy bottled juices from the grocery store, but we prefer handmade juices to maximize our nutrient intake and eliminate unnecessary sugars and other additives. So, 5-6 days /week we'll each drink 24-32 ounces of Kendrick's Green Juice. It takes several hours weekly to prepare, so it's definitely a labor of love. Using a plain, non-fat yogurt as a base, he juices the following fruits and vegetables:
